Description
Students reflect on their next steps in education and career advancement. Practical resume building skills are a focus. Students learn about effective resumes and build their own based on this knowledge. Students explore additional opportunities now that they have an introduction to programming and skills in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), JavaScript, HTML, CSS and general computational thinking. Students create a plan to move towards their next steps and learn how We Can Code IT and our partners can assist them in their journey.
This instructor-led 3-hour online course is a free add-on when you take Introduction to Web Development or Introduction to Software Development. It is available monthly.
Prerequisites:
- Completion of Coding Fundamentals
- Completion of Introduction to Web Development or Introduction to Software Development (or both for the full Nanodegree).
- Ability to use Zoom and participate in Zoom meetings
- Computer with microphone and speakers (most have such options)
- Fluency in English
